How Much Does a Telegram Bot Cost in 2026

In 2026 a Telegram bot costs from €200 to €1000. The simplest lead-intake bot is €200–350 and 2–4 days of work; a catalogue bot with payments is €550–800 and up to two weeks. Two factors drive the price: the number of integrations and the complexity of the bot’s structure. Below: our real price list and three bots from our practice.

What typical bots cost

These ranges come from our price list, with real projects behind them, which is why they are narrow:

Bot typePriceTimeline
Lead-intake bot€200–3502–4 days
Booking bot€350–5504–7 days
Catalogue with payments€550–8007–14 days
AI assistantfrom €5005–10 days
Internal team bot€250–10003–7 days

A lead-intake bot is the “website form to Telegram message” chain: it forwards enquiries to the right chat and sells nothing by itself. A booking bot does more: it shows free slots, confirms the booking and reminds about the visit. A catalogue with payments is a small shop inside the messenger: products, a cart, payment processing. The internal team bot has the widest range, €250–1000, because very different jobs hide behind that name, from “post a daily report into the chat” to automating an entire workflow.

What pushes the price from €200 to €1000

When we are asked why one bot costs €200 and another €1000, we name two factors. The first is the number of integrations. A bot that only forwards leads into a chat depends on nobody; a bot with payments already talks to a payment provider, a bot with AI talks to an external model, and every such integration means setup, error handling and testing. The second factor is the complexity of the structure: menus and how deeply the scenarios nest. A bot with a single “Leave a request” button fits on one sheet of paper. A bot where the user picks a service, then a date, then a payment method, and can go back and change their mind at any step, is already dozens of states, each of them needing testing. That is why a lead-intake bot costs €200–350 and takes 2–4 days, while a catalogue with payments is €550–800 and up to two weeks: the difference is the number of scenarios that have to work without failing.

Three bots from our practice

The first is a bot selling paid access to a private Telegram channel on a subscription model. It cost €400. Inside: the bot itself, which lets people into the channel after payment, an admin panel for the owner, payment processing, and reminders for those who started checkout but never paid. Those follow-up nudges are the most interesting part: the bot brings back people who changed their mind halfway, without the owner lifting a finger. The channel itself stays an ordinary private Telegram channel; all the access mechanics live in the bot.

The second is an image-generation bot for a weather website: it automatically draws weather cards. There is no dialogue with a user at all; the bot works as an internal service. It is a useful example of how “bot” does not always mean “chat”: sometimes it is simply a robot doing routine work on a schedule. For the site owner it means the cards are always fresh even though no human draws them.

The third is a kitchen AI assistant that generates recipes. It shows well why the table lists the AI assistant as “from €500” with no upper bound: the size of such a project depends on how many scenarios need covering and how carefully the work with the model has to be tuned. That is why we estimate these projects after a conversation about scenarios, not from the table alone.

How to tell which type you need

We suggest starting with two questions. First: what should the bot do without you? If it only has to bring leads into a chat, the cheapest type at €200–350 is enough. If it has to take payments or manage bookings, those are integrations, and the budget shifts to €350–800. Second: how many steps does the user have to walk through? Every extra step in a scenario brings its edge cases: what happens if the person changes their mind, makes a mistake, sends the wrong thing. The more honestly you answer these two questions before the start, the more accurate the estimate and the fewer surprises along the way.

The paid-access bot from our practice illustrates this well: it has no product catalogue, so it does not reach the €550–800 “catalogue with payments” category, but it does have a payment integration and an admin panel, which is why it cost €400, right between the simple and the complex types.

What the price covers, and what the subscription covers

The price in the table is development: scenarios, integrations, testing, launch. After that the bot has to live somewhere, and there is no separate bill for it: bot hosting is part of the €8–€32/mo subscription together with site hosting. A daily health check is included too: monitoring verifies every day that the bot responds, and if something breaks, we learn about it before the owner does. The timelines in the table are working ones, not marketing: 2–4 days for a lead-intake bot means that within a week of the first conversation the bot is already forwarding real leads.

This is worth keeping in mind when you compare quotes: development prices from different vendors can look similar, while the question of “where will the bot live and who will notice when it goes down” often stays out of the picture. A bot that has been quietly dead for two weeks costs more than any development bill: exactly as much as the leads that never arrived in that time.

The full first-year cost of the simplest bot comes out transparent: €200–350 for development and from €96 for the yearly subscription, which already includes site hosting, the domain with renewal and daily checks.
